The Commissioning process often begins with initial contact being made by the client or interior designer with regard to a project or idea already in mind. We then liaise with them to discuss their ideas and inspiration, drawing on a vast array of both examples of our own past work and existing styles or designs. Site visits are only generally required for fitted or large residential projects in order to survey and check accessibility.
Following this our Drawing Office translates the clients requirements into sketch designs using our 3D Design software suite. These are detailed Computer Generated Photo Renders enabling clients to see an illustration of what their item of furniture will look like . This also allows the client to identify changes that might need to be made before production takes place. Revisions can take place until the design meets the required specifications.
Once the design has been finalised and the go-ahead given, we request a 50% deposit and with receipt of this, the Drawing Office produces technical working drawings and we provide the client with samples of materials and finishes for approval. Next we proceed with the manufacturing using only the finest materials and expert craftspeople.
Lastly, each piece is finished by hand at our Finishing Department. We offer a wide range of Painted, Veneered & Polished finishes that are tailored to meet the exact needs of the client. All items of furniture are checked for Quality Assurance and then carefully packaged and delivered to the client or installed onsite if required, usually between 6-14 weeks dependent upon the complexity of the item . This can vary on current workshop capacity but all customers are advised of the lead time at the time of order. The final balance is then invoiced upon delivery.
